Terms of Use

Welcome to Love Reading. These Terms of Use ("Terms") are a binding agreement between Love Reading ("Love Reading," "we," "us," or "our") and you, and govern your access to and use of lovereadingclub.com, our newsletter, and related content and services (the "Services"). By using the Services in any way, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

Some of the Services are delivered through the beehiiv platform, which hosts our pages and delivers our emails. Your use of the Services may also be subject to beehiiv's own terms of use and privacy policy.

1. Acceptance and Changes

By accessing or using the Services, you accept these Terms. We may update these Terms from time to time by posting a revised version and updating the date above. Your continued use of the Services after an update means you accept the changes.

2. Eligibility

The Services are intended for individuals who are at least 18 years old. By using the Services, you represent that you are 18 or older. We may suspend or end your access if we reasonably believe you are under 18.

3. Subscriptions and Account Security

Our newsletter is free to subscribe to. When you subscribe, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to keep it up to date. You are responsible for any activity under your subscription and for keeping any login details confidential. The Services and their content, including text, graphics, logos, and Love Reading's name and brand (the "Marks"), are owned by Love Reading or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. We reserve all rights not expressly granted. You may not use the Marks without our prior written permission. Book titles, cover images, author names, and any quoted passages remain the property of their respective owners and are used for identification, review, and commentary only.

6. Content and Informational Purpose

Love Reading shares book recommendations, reviews, reading lists, and related content for general information and enjoyment. Opinions are our own or those of our contributors, and any recommendation reflects a personal view rather than professional advice. We work to keep our content accurate but do not warrant that it is complete, current, or error-free, and it may change without notice.

7. Advertising, Affiliates, and Sponsorships

The Services may include advertising, sponsored content, and affiliate links (for example, links to booksellers). If you click an affiliate link and make a purchase, we may earn a commission. Sponsored items will be labeled. The presence of an ad or link is not an endorsement.

8. Third-Party Links

The Services may link to third-party websites we do not control. We are not responsible for their content, products, or practices, and you use them at your own risk.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LOVE READING WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOST PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO THE SERVICES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100).

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Love Reading and its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Services, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any third party's rights.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time if you breach these Terms or for any other reason. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnity) will continue to apply.

13. General

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and Love Reading regarding the Services and supersede any prior agreement. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them on notice to you.
